Kim has an Associate Degree in Fashion Merchandising and was employed as a manager for The Limited Stores, Inc. for 9 years, whileshe and her family were living in Florida.
She and her husband returned home to Maine in 1996 to farm and raise their family “back home”. After being a stay at home mom for 17 years, she returned to work as a Design Assistant at the S. W. Collins Home Design Center in 2006.
Kim loves interior design and often experiments with colors and ideas in her own home. In our Home Design Center showroom she enjoys educating customers on color choices, industry trends, and products, and helping them coordinate all of the visual elements of their projects. She feels that excellent customer service is the primary reason that customers choose the S. W. Collins Home Design Center for their projects.
In her spare time, Kim can be found in one of her gardens getting her hands dirty and remaining well guarded by her “Do Not Disturb” sign!
