Marcy Whipple is another member of the Design Team at the S.W. Collins Home Design Center in Caribou.
Marcy has been a Kitchen and Bath Designer with the S.W. Collins Company since 2003.
Before becoming a member of the S. W. Collins Design Team, Marcy had earned her Associates Degree from Northern Maine Community College and worked as an office manager.
She now holds her Associate Kitchen and Bath Design Certificate (AKBD); the first step in a seven year process of becoming a Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer (CKBD). In addition to being a Kitchen and Bath Designer at S.W. Collins, Marcy sits on the Executive Committee for the Maine State Chapter of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) as VP of Technology/Communications. Quite a feather in this hard working young lady's cap.
In 2006, Marcy received training at Woodmode Custom Cabinetry’s Introductory and Advanced Schools. She is one of only 2 designers who, in the last 40 years, to have received both of the Silver Scale Awards given at the schools. These awards are given for having the most accurate and innovative project. Don O’Connor, Director of Sales and Design Training at Woodmode, expressed the company's pleasure at having a designer of Marcy’s caliber to represent Woodmode and Brookhaven.
Marcy's great organizational skills and close attention to detail, ensures that each design is functional and beautiful. She quickly gains the customer's trust and confidence making it much easier to guide her clients in the decision making process. Marcy listens closely to her customers ideas and needs to make certain that each finished project is going to be exactly what the customer envisioned. Marcy’s main goal is to design spaces that truly reflect her clients’ personality and tastes.
When Marcy is not working, she loves decorating, gardening, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends.
